I’m thinking about signing up to receive content via email from Modern Luxury at modernluxury.com/signup but before I did I wanted to ask if anyone has signed up for their newsletter before and how much spam it generates.
I didn’t find any specific information on the web about what all comes with giving ML your email address but I did take note of the fact that ML now has multiple titles within the same market - like in New York (Gotham, Manhattan and Hamptons), Southern California (Orange County and Angeleno) and Chicago (CS and Michigan Avenue - see bizjournals.com/chicago/news/2017/04/20/modern-luxury-insists-it-will-continue-publishing.html).
I want to get notifications of published features like modernluxury.com/washington-dc/features/following-her-muse and modernluxury.com/manhattan/features/bluemercurys-barry-beck-unveils-plans-manhattan-takeover with Barry Beck and modernluxury.com/aspen/features/leading-love. I want to be clued in to upcoming fashion events and current style trends. I don’t want a deluge of spam and to find my already cluttered inbox even more messy.
So, the question remains: Would signing up for an account with and giving my email address to Modern Luxury result in only occasional emailings consisting solely of desired content, or would I be fending off a barrage of unwanted solicitations?
